Our History
 

SHALOM SERVICE & REPAIRS is a sole proprietor business and was founded by Gerhard Bezuidenhout on 12 May 2010.

 

After many years of successful service & reparation work, we are very popular due to word of mouth by our customer and has continued support from our satisfied clients.

Our Mission
 

To keep our customer’s vehicles on the road at the most efficient and properly maintained way, thereby doing our bit into limiting air pollution from carbon monoxide.
 
To ensure our client’s satisfaction and to provide a professional, friendly and trustworthy service at all times.


 Meet the key role players of our Team 
 
Madelein
Madeleine Jacobs. Personal Assistant at Shalom. Doing all Administration work. Main tasks consists of doing quotations on vehicles required repairs, booking and scheduling vehicles, ordering necessary spare parts and creating and maintaining Vehicle History Cards manually and electronically for all future references, establishing Invoices and communicating with Customers as well as handling all payments and records thereof. Madeleine is an extremely friendly person and has the gift of making any customer feel welcome and satisfied. She is also the eldest daughter of the owner of Shalom Service & Repairs and started working at Shalom in December 2010.

Gerhard

Gerhard matriculated in the year 1983, and started to work at Denel Aircraft Corporation in 1986 after completion of his National Service.

He became a qualified Aircraft Tool & Die Maker and did his National N6 Technical Diploma.

He finished at Denel as Senior Engineering Process Planner.

He started Mechanical Repairs Business in 1991

He earned the nickname as
“Mr. FIXIT”

Bobla

Bobla is employed since Shalom Service & Repairs was established.

Senior Mechanic. Trained at Ed’s Autohouse Mercedes Specialist Workshop in Edenvale for 9 years.

 

Reliable worker with a good sense of responsibility.


Always willing to finish urgent jobs even if it means working overtime after hours or on Public Holidays.

Benjamin

Benjamin is working at Shalom Service & Repairs since 2011, and is trained by Shalom.

 

Benjamin is also the cousin of Bobla and therefore they form a good team.

 

Benjamin is a reliable worker with a good sense of responsibility. He is always early on the job and willing to work late to finish urgent work on vehicles to help keep customers satisfied.

 

Benjamin also works at Shalom on Saturdays to help keeping the premises of Shalom Service and Repairs clean and neat.
